First impression lasts. Jeds Island resort website sucks! Why? The header is simply annoying to the eyes with resort features moving left to right as if shaking under earthquake. It distracts the eye of users like me when I tried to visit their official site online. I swear it really is something the hurts the eye of visitors. It's our own opinion, on the other hand and not everybody's.
No offense to the web designer and we are not even experts on the field but I'm afraid that the best clue to a website not build for users eyes is to ask the users (visitors) themselves to analyze and scan a website in a matter of the first 5 seconds see what they have to say about your design. If you don't meet what we, the user end needs with respect to not just an eye-catching design but also one that's easy to look at, sorry to say but you failed yourself on your work. Thanks to Webdew Creative Solutions for not giving any website design ethics with respect to flash animation use and user / visitor interaction to their client, the resort owner.
Setting aside what annoying website design it has, the Bulacan resort paradise looks promising especially for kids and picture taking, the swimming pool resort service and their happy-themed summer leisure park.
It has different gigantic figures inside which by the way are all good to have taken pictures with if you decide to visit. The resort also offers private pools for special accommodation only.
Amenities of the resort include a free wifi zone which is already common to most resorts in Bulacan area especially those with wave pool inside. They are also open 24 hours and promises no brownouts. During summer peak season, live bands highlight the pool function area. For those asking if food and drinks are allowed? Yes, they are and you don't get charged any fee for bringing in any. They also offer one of the cheapest open cottage rates.
Paid Basketball Court?
Basketball court is open for paid use of Php 250.00 per hour which is way too much to charge for a leisure park. They should have charged a measly 1 peso additional instead to the entrance fee per head (and the visitors won't give a damn) or for a basketball ball rent than charge people for using the said sports arena. A Php 100.00 deposit for the billiards ball is acceptable on the other hand. Videoke mic and song (I hope it's for the songbook) deposit will cost you Php 200.00. I'm not so sure if these deposits are 100% refundable because the website doesn't say so (or i must've just missed it). A different rate of deposit will be charged and an extra amount will be added if you use any of the resort facilities during night swimming tour.
These Jeds Island resort amenities fees apart from being a bit unreasonable to some customers (because they were not explained in the website) which by the way are free of charge to other resorts we've been to in Bataan, Subic, Laguna, Antipolo, Cavite, Boracay and Batangas are being charged to visitors and customers. I hope they explain it to visitors of their website to make things clear because it somehow drives customers away from getting a booking reserved for accommodation. Well, at least from my point of view as a customer.
Again, food and drinks are allowed and will incur no extra charge for bringing in or taking them inside with you. Please call them using the hotline telephone numbers to confirm this before you make any reservation or come to visit. We don't want to be the cause of your delay or misconception.
